They announced at a ceremony held by the North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year jury. It is the second time that a Bronco has won a prestigious award. It is the first time the SUV got the top prize for two years consecutively. The all-new Bronco was up against stiff competition from the likes of the Chevrolet Bolt EV, Toyota RAV4 Prime, and Hyundai Santa Fe. However, the Bronco's combination of off-road capability, style, and value helped it secure the win. The Ford Bronco is making a comeback after a 25-year absence. The original Bronco was introduced in 1966 and quickly became an off-roading icon. It remained in production until 1996, when it got discontinued due to declining sales. However, interest in the Bronco never died. There have been numerous calls for its return over the years.
